Wholesale Supplier to Africa – UK Trade Stock for African Retailers

Rysons is a UK wholesale supplier exporting to Africa from our warehouse in Manchester, England. We supply retailers, market traders, general merchandise shops and online sellers across Africa — including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and Egypt — with pound lines, household goods, toys, stationery, party and seasonal ranges and branded clearance stock: the fast-moving general merchandise that discount retail runs on.

Shipping to Africa at a glance

  • Dispatch readiness: goods are usually ready for shipping within 3–5 working days of receiving the order
  • Shipping cost and transit: freight is arranged and quoted per order — it depends on the number of pallets and the destination country and port
  • Your own forwarder welcome: choose Customer to Collect / Arrange Collection at checkout and have your freight forwarder or consolidator collect from Manchester, Monday–Friday 9am–5pm
  • Currencies: GBP, EUR and USD — billing addresses accepted worldwide

Many African buyers already move goods from the UK through a freight forwarder or container consolidator, and that is usually the most efficient route: you keep control of the routing, the cost and the customs handling, and part-container loads can be consolidated with your other UK suppliers. How the pallets work

All orders are palletised, shrink wrapped and covered on top. Pallet quantity is worked out at one pallet per £500 net of VAT and freight is charged per pallet, so one consolidated order almost always ships more efficiently than several small ones — especially on sea freight, where a fuller load makes every pallet cheaper.

Customs and taxes

Buyers are responsible for import duties, taxes and customs clearance in the destination country unless otherwise agreed in writing. Goods are UK stock sold at trade prices excluding VAT. UK-origin export paperwork is provided with the order.
